Every day, Mercy Bakery produces 4000 pieces of bread, but all of the bread is sold for 30% of the market price, with the remainder covered by EMF donors.
As a result, EMF creates job opportunities for locals by purchasing local flour and other baking ingredients, and we ensure that locals have access to affordable nutritious bread, which is one of their food staples.
The locals will greatly benefit from this, as food prices have skyrocketed as a result of the war. Every day, there is a long queue of hungry locals waiting for their turn. The staff works tirelessly to keep up with the demand.
