Maulid al-Diyā' al-Lāmi'

Description

Mawlid al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Lāmiʿ was authored by al-ʿAllāmah al-Ḥabīb ʿUmar bin Muḥammad bin Sālim bin Ḥafīẓ ibni al-Shaykh Abū Bakr bin Sālim in the year 1994 in the city of Shiḥr, Mukalla, Haḍramawt, Yemen.

One of the beloved customs of Muslims is to gather and to sing poems of the eulogy and the life story of Prophet Muḥammad ‎ﷺ, thereby commemorating his life and increasing our love for him.

There are many hidden secrets in this Mawlid. The opening chapter contains 12 verses, signifying the birth date of Rasūlullāh ‎ﷺ which falls on the 12th of Rabīʿ ‘ul-awwal. The first chapter is taken from 3 surah, Surah Al-Fatḥ, Surah At-Tawbah and Surah Al-Aḥzāb.
