Abū Hurayrah (R.A) (May Allāh be pleased with him) reported,

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said,

“He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account”.

Even though Yemen is not one of our neighboring countries, we at EMF see it as our special honor to serve the good people of Yemen, who have been facing such extreme difficulties for some years now.

We feel that South East Asia has a very special connection to Yemen, since ‘Islām was spread to South East Asia through scholars from Yemen without weapons, struggles or fights – only with good character and good manners.

We at EMF send money to our volunteers and staff in Hadramawt, who will go out and buy the supplies needed (milk powder, oil, rice, flour, sugar, medicine, water tanks, etc). This is also a way of supporting the local economy in Yemen, instead of sending the goods from abroad.

We always work closely with our local coordinators, staff and volunteers, who know the situation intimately. They take pictures of the purchased aid and distribute it according to our agreement.

Once a year our founder Imran Angullia will go to Yemen and help out with the distribution for Ramadān.
